We attended the Colonial Cup Race in Camden in 1975, and while there we were invited to an open house party. That's when I first saw a Christmas tree loaded with handmade custom balls. It was one of the most beautiful Christmas trees I'd ever seen and I was hooked! When I returned home, I went out and bought all the things I could find to make our own for our Christmas tree. Friends dropped by and offered to pay me to make make some for them. And my Christmas Ball Creations just snowballed from there.

       My Christmas tree balls are 2½ inches usually, but I can make larger ones by request. I made a 6" ball for a local lady that wanted University of Oklahoma colors and OU on the ball. I covered the ball with a beautiful white velvet and piped in the red of Oklahoma. The OU was red velvet, the top of the ball had a gold-toned filigree cap and hook to hang it with, and on the bottom another gold-toned filigree cap that was held in place by a long decorative needle with a gold-toned ball at the end. The smile on her face really made the work worth it. She gave it to her son who finished school there. So just let me know what you'd like!

       I can use many different fabrics, like velvet, crushed velvet or silk. All of my balls are done to look as luxurious as possible. I use gold cording on some, silver ribbon on others. I top the balls with either gold-toned or silver-toned filigree caps and put a long needle on the bottom decorated with pearl, gold or silver balls.

       If you want a specific color to go with your tree just call or email and we can work it out. I can make regular Christmas tree balls, or llama charm balls (with a variety of llamas - some are sterling silver, some pewter), or I can talk with you about your "special ball design" in any colors you want. My own favorite is made from a ball gown that belonged to my mother. It hangs on our tree so I feel her close during the holidays, and it is very special to me!

       I don't make any two balls alike, unless you request a matched set. The balls run from $15.00 to $30.00 depending on size. Special orders may cost more, according to your request. Also, if you accidentally drop one of my balls, they won't break!
